I have looked and looked for ANYTHING on these.  There is aprox 35 of them. Pat. 1-20-20 and 1-4-27.  I cleaned the one .  A very well made piece.   Not sure if they were for auto or not .  The loop size is adjustable.   The only thing I am sure of is they are RARE !!   Can't find anything about them .   Selling all of them together in an old hair pin box.      A search of the patent reveals that these are hair rolling clips.
