This exceptionally rare commemorative features the Graf Zeppelin alongside a German Zeppelin 1933 Facsimile stamp and Zeppelin blueprint cachet. Encapsulated within the cover is an authenticated fragment of the Graf Zeppelin from 1928 - the legendary airship that completed the first commercial round-the-world flight in 1929.

The relic is part of the outer fabric of the airship and has been authenticated by John Reznikoff of University of Archives – the United States’ leading authority on historical provenance. A second Buckingham Covers embossed Certificate of Authenticity also features as well as a hand-written note about the fabric.
