    Air Suspension Bags Installation Guide

    1.Prepare the Vehicle

    • Park on level ground, engage parking brake, and chock the wheels that remain on the ground.
    • Lift the rear (or front) of the vehicle and place jack stands under the frame rails. Lower the vehicle onto the stands. The suspension should hang freely.

2.Remove Factory Bump Stops (if applicable)

    • Locate the factory rubber bump stops above the axle. Remove them to create room for the air bags.
    • Some vehicles require the bump stop bracket to remain

    3.Assemble the Air Bags

    • Attach the upper and lower mounting brackets to the air bag using the provided bolts. Do not fully tighten – allow for alignment.
    • Make sure the air fitting points in a convenient direction for routing the air line.

    4.Install the Air Bag Assembly

    • Place the assembly into the bump stop location, with the upper bracket against the frame and the lower bracket centered on the axle (or spring perch).
    • Hand-tighten all bolts, then verify the air bag sits straight and centered.
    • Torque all bolts (typically 30-45 ft-lbs).

    5.Route & Connect Air Lines

    • Cut the air line squarely using a tubing cutter – a crooked cut is the #1 cause of leaks.
    • Push the line into the push-to-connect fitting until it bottoms out, then gently pull back to confirm it’s locked.
    • Route the line away from exhaust and sharp edges, securing it with zip ties every 12-18 inches.
    • Connect the other end to the inflation valve (Schrader valve) or height control valve – again, push fully home.

    6.Inflate & Leak Test

    • First inflate to only 5-10 PSI, check that the air bag sits correctly and is not twisted.
    • Then inflate to your typical working pressure (usually 60-90 PSI, depending on load).
    • Spray soapy water on every fitting and air line connection. Bubbles = leaks.
    • If a leak is found, try re-cutting the tube and re-inserting it. Do not overtighten the fitting nut (can damage the o-ring).

    7.Final Check & Road Test

    • With bags inflated, verify at least 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) clearance from exhaust, sway bar, brake lines, etc.
    • Reinstall wheels, lower the vehicle, and re-check torque on all mounting bolts.
    • Take a short test drive (5-10 miles), then re-check air pressure and inspect all connections for leaks.

    Common Problems and Solutions

    1. Bag won’t hold pressure: Uneven air tube cut or not fully inserted. Recut the air tube and push the connector vertically until it reaches the bottom.

    2. Compressor cycles too often: Minor air leak in the system. Carefully check all connections, including the inflation valve core, with soapy water.

    3. Vehicle leans after inflation: Uneven air pressure on both sides, or knotted hose. Check if the air pressure on both sides is equal; check if the air tube is compressed.

    4. Rubbing or noise while driving: Interference between the airbag and chassis components. Readjust the bracket position, or add shims to increase clearance.

    Important Safety Tips

    1. Please confirm compatibility and the original part number before purchasing.
    2. Installation instructions not included.Self-installation is not recommended for non-professionals. Improper operation may cause suspension failure and driving hazards.Professional installation is recommended.
    3. Regularly inspect air tightness and wire aging to ensure driving safety.
    4. Do not drive for a long time with the vehicle at extreme height or low height.
