Pretty antique slant lap desk is black paper mache with mother of pearl inlay.
Has decorative detail done in gold, green and red. Interior is missing it's
velvet covers. Has an end chip and crack to the lid, plus 2 corner chips.
wire holding hinges are replaced. Refer to photo's c. 1860's
