3 MONTHS LIMITED WARRANTY - MAIN ENGINE ONLY
This used engine is covered by a 3 months limited warranty. Warranty covers the main engine block only and does not cover ancillaries or external/serviceable parts such as turbo, injectors, fuel pump, alternator, starter motor, sensors, wiring, clutch/flywheel, belts, pulleys, tensioners, water pump, thermostat, EGR, manifolds, gaskets, seals or hoses unless stated otherwise.
Timing belt / timing chain must be replaced before fitting, including guides, tensioners and related components where applicable. Proof of replacement may be required for any warranty claim. Failure to replace the timing belt/chain before installation may invalidate this limited warranty if the failure is related to timing, incorrect fitting, lubrication/service issues or consequential engine damage.
Engine is supplied drained of oil and fluids for transport. Correct fresh oil, coolant, filters and all necessary service items must be fitted before first start. Engine must be fitted by a competent mechanic/garage following manufacturer procedures.
Any fault must be reported immediately. Engine must not be stripped, repaired or continued to be used without our written approval. In case of a claim, the engine must be returned to us for inspection and may be checked by an engine specialist to determine the cause of failure.
