This Argus A-Four dates before 1954 because the Aperature setting has f8 in red as well as focus 15 feet in red. Has colormatic markings, focuses to 2 feet depth of field setting f22 lThe date stamp inside the camera is barely visible..as photographed the aperture works as doe the shutter release. it comes with complete case.., all settings work..rewind wind, . The rare part is the fact it is a working A-Four..not known for their longevity or staying power (Not one of argus' best creations)o have an A4 in this condition that will take photos is definitelyt a plus for any collector/ or addition to a working group of retro cameras.
Shoots 35 mm film...suggest you keep in mind and shoot sfilm asa speeds that were available in the early 50's not the speed etc ones of later years..your pgotos will be better...
