Brown & Sharpe 6 inch Dial Caliper (Model 599-579-5, Black Dial Face)

Caliper is in good condition overall. It's been checked with gage blocks and a master ring gage, and has been found to be within tolerance in the outside, inside, and step features. The depth rod feature is off by 0.002 and therefore technically out of tolerance. Cosmetically, the caliper has seen a good deal of use and is fairly worn. There are scratches, scuffs, dings, dents, discoloration and dirt/wear in general. There are light scratches on the crystal over the dial, but there doesn't seem to be any coolant or anything trapped under the crystal. See photos for cosmetic detail. 

Note: Each feature is accurate within 1 division except for the depth rod, which is off by 2 divisions.
