“Medieval Medicine" by James J Walsh, 1st Edition published in 1920 in London by A & C Black, Ltd. Has been reprinted numerous times since and as recently as 2018. In its original publication, this 216-page manual is part of the Medical History Manuals produced during that time, edited by John D Conroe. It delves into the history of medicine in medieval Europe, with a focus on the practices and beliefs of the time. Eight Illustration pages are of a different sort of paper, and unlike the other pages are very white (see pictures of illustrations.) 216 pages, it is a very interesting read. In very good condition, there are no marks, tears or folds on any of the pages except the following: pages 70 & 71 are spotted at the top (see picture ,) pages 162 & 163 have very small stains at the top (see picture ,) and there is pencil scribble inside the front cover (see picture. .) the binding is good, no loose pages. The cover is solid and not warped. It is worn (see pictures) with the worst part being the top and bottom of the spine. PLEASE NOTE: The cover color seen in the pictures has “dramatic warm” tint applied. It is the closest color I could find. I very rarely use any changes to just a straight shot, but my normal shot pics came up blue no matter what distance I took them from. It is not blue. The actual look is the color in the pictures but duller.
