What to expect: These are 20-year-old devices. Despite thorough testing, about 6.7% of units will have an issue during shipping?usually a battery failing or a click-wheel getting jammed in transit.
If you have an issue, you have two simple choices:
Easy Return: Start a standard return for a full, free refund.
Direct Repair: Send it back to me with a note; I will fix or replace it and cover your shipping costs.
A note on patience: I know these iPods are a great trip down memory lane for many of you. However, if you are looking for a perfect, maintenance-free experience and have a low patience level for technical hiccups, I?d respectfully ask you to purchase elsewhere. Of the small group that does have an issue, about half will require a second trip back to my bench to get it 100% right.
