This is a rare 2001 K. Yairi "RAY" series limited edition acoustic-electric guitar, specially ordered by the major Japanese music store Shinseido Rock Inn. It features a unique Alvarez export shell logo on the headstock, distinguishing it from standard RAY models. The guitar boasts exquisite custom details such as a star-shaped inlay at the 12th fret, star decorations on the bridge, and an abalone rosette around the soundhole. Nearly 25 years of playing have matured its sound into a beautiful, bell-like sustain with a distinctive "Japan Vintage" tone. It is ready for live performance as an electro-acoustic instrument.
