This drive (and all of my drives for sale), are run through a few tests, including surface scanning and completely wiping the drive sector to sector. I just recently started testing drives to sell on eBay again, and in the past with this process, there were only very rare issues that most likely occurred from rough handling during shipping.
There can be wear, dust, dirt, dings, writing, stickers, tape, scratches, etc. so please do not expect a used drive in physically pristine condition.
**This drive will need to be partitioned and formatted before use. Do not order if you are unable to do this.**
All hard drives are packed carefully: sealed in a static shielding bag with a desiccant pack, bubble-wrapped, and boxed.
