Vintage Japanese Dragonware plates featuring a raised-enamel technique called moriage. This style of porcelain was popular for export, particularly from the late 1800s through the mid-20th century.

The plates are adorned with a scaled, gold-toned dragon chasing a "pearl of wisdom."

The dragon design is applied using a raised-enamel (moriage) technique, giving it a distinct, textured feel.
This type of china was typically made in Japan, often by factories like Kutani.

The plates measure 19cm or 7 1/2" in diameter and is marked on the back.

The plates are both in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
