Please check the photos carefully and buy at your own risk because I
can't determine brand/model number (and thus application), only that it
is twice stamped "SWISS MADE", plus, as below, anecdotally, someone was
using it the whole time with STEEL strapping material, whether or not
that is correct, it was working for their shipments.
This is a listing for (1) ONE tool, the one in the title and shown in
the photos in the photo gallery.
16-3/4" total length, and I don't know what "handle length" means in
the Uline catalog).
I don't know what brand this is and some people on here are using
nonsense AI descriptions saying that a "YBICO" crimper is Swiss made
and with a fake model number, too. This DOES say Swiss made on both
sides and has no other brand or anything stamped into it, and I can't
read what's left of the labeling, which might have been a property tag,
too.
Looking at the Uline catalog, it looks nearly exactly like H-57 ($44,
poly strapping, which says 1/2" and 5/8" but I can't see how this one
can do two sizes, my photos show you a 1/2" steel seal fitting
PERFECTLY in the jaws) and H-702 ($90, polyester strapping, 1/2"), BUT
I know for a FACT that this was used ONLY with steel banding (I bought
out all of their strapping/material handling materials/tools, and they
never had any forms of plastic banding in there). Maybe it's wrong to
do that, the ones for steel banding look a little different, but that's
what they were using it for in there.
