Hemp is one of the all time great carp fishing particle baits, used by tens of thousands of anglers across the UK & Europe. Although it has increased in price over the last few years, you don't need to use much of it to turn an average fishing trip into a fantastic one.

This particular batch of hemp is sourced from China and splits exceptionally well. It also produces lots of oil when cooked, which can be drained off one you have prepared it and used to soak into things like; boilies, flaked maize, crumb or other particle baits.

6kg of this dry hemp, will make approximately 10kg of prepared hempseed once cooked.

CAUTION: All dry particles and nuts will absorb water and expand once submerged. For this reason, they MUST all be prepared in the correct manner, so that they are safe for fish to consume.

To Prepare: Soak your hempseed for 24/48 hours, then boil for 30mins or until the seeds begins to split. Do not add any salt to it before the hemp has split, as this will hinder the seeds from actually splitting if you do.
