Dr. Beasley’s Matte Paint Cleanser removes stubborn contaminants without changing the appearance of matte paint finishes. It actively breaks down messes like bird droppings, insect remains, tree sap, road tar and other contaminants so they can be easily wiped away with a soft microfibre towel. Detailing clay cannot be used on matte vehicles, however your surface needs to be decontaminated before a protective coating is applied. The solution is to use Matte Paint Cleanser. This paint preparation spray removes any contaminants that are left on the car’s surface after washing. Matte Paint Cleanser leaves an even, uniform surface which it vital for when you come to apply protection to your vehicle. Using this product before you apply a coating will ensure that it bonds to the surface correctly. This cleanser can strip existing coatings, so it is recommended to use Matte Paint Cleanser followed by an application of a coating.
