Up for bid is this Antique shotgun lock and hammer (right side). Profusely, engraved and fully functional, this lock is in excellent condition with very crisp action and strong main spring. The lock shows little to no ware. It measures approximately 4 1/8 inches in length and approximately 1 inch in height. The engraving of the dog and pheasant is fine and detailed. The hammer has accent engraving, as well as the hammer screw, although there is somewhere on the screw head itself.
