This Sony ICF‑2010 was previously purchased by an eBay buyer. It powered on properly prior to shipping (dials, switches, sliders, antennae, buttons, display, and signal LEDs were all functioning), but after shipping to the buyer, it arrived non‑functional and would not power on. The buyer returned and shipped the unit back to me. It would not power on.

No fatal damage is visible externally. Cosmetically, it is mint. Given the age of this model and its well‑documented sensitivity to shipping vibration (especially regarding internal capacitors and power circuitry), shipping shock is a likely contributor, but the exact cause is unknown.
