This listing is for a pre-war, 1941 American Flyer O gauge No. 4102 "Pennsylvania K5 Freight Set". Set includes 561 Loco and 558 tender, A 486 hopper, a 482 Log car, a 478 Box car and a 484L caboose. This is Set 4102 #2 I am listing.
The 561 Loco is in good condition with decent paint and cab numbers, no breaks or chips. Pilot is solid with both steps. The pilot wheels are correct profile replacements. Drivers are original and in good condition. The trailing wheels are original, and work when running. The E-unit cycles normally, and the loco runs well in forward and reverse. All rods are original.
The 558 tender is complete with drawbar, ladder top, marker lights w/jewels, coupler, wheelsets and journal covers. The lettering is weak in the middle where it has been picked up for 80 years.
The 486 Hopper is complete and all original.
The 482 Log car is complete and original - decals on logs are weak.
The 478 Box car is complete and original.
The 484L caboose is complete with black end rails, center rail pickup and does light. See photo.
