The CLK has been owned by our family since first registered, first by my father in law, then my mother in law and finally passed down to me in 2015 when it had covered 27,000. I have added a further 110,000 miles in the last 11 years.
The car was written off by the insurance company in 2020 when a car hit another car which then bumped into our CLK causing some minor cosmetic damage to the rear bumper but nothing else (we did not get the car fixed and bought it back from the insurance company). The strong tow bar (original option purchased from Mercedez Benz at first registration) took the brunt of the pressure.
The car has been serviced by MB dealers since new, mostly by the Ascot Vertu dealership and most recently in December 2025.
The MOT runs to January 2027. The MOT showed that the coil springs and bushes needed replacing (which we had replaced) and two advisories, a small oil leak which has been an issue in the past but it has never required oil topping up other than at the usual yearly service, but also the fact that the exhaust is corroded and will need replacing. We have therefore included a starting price to reflect this.
Tyres are in good condition and we have 2 keys for the car.
