I purchased this detector new from BestBuy in 2018 and used in a seasonal garage-kept and non-smoker adult driven car. I'll put the receipt in the box for your records. It was registered with ESCORT.
The detector is in near perfect cosmetic condition (see photos) and isn't 'sticky' and has no 'smells'. The OLED display is clear and bright. Speaker is clear sounding. I powered it up with the included SmartCord USB in the photo you see. The screen shots are from a PC update and via the DriveSmarter App showing it is up to date.
*** PLEASE NOTE: The detector still detects but occasionally displays "CHECK FR" when driving. It boots up normally and the firmware is up to date. This is why it is listed as For Parts or Not Working. ***
Reason for selling: Due to the occasional CHECK FR message I updated to a newer unit with more features and range.
