This is (2) coins for sale - (1) of each version created

The 1966 South African 2 cent coin is part of the country's second decimal coinage series (introduced in 1965 after decimalization in 1961). It replaced the short-lived 2½ cent coin and belongs to the first bronze 2c type issued from 1965 to 1969 (later succeeded by smaller copper-plated steel versions until discontinuation in 2001). These coins circulated until around 1990.

Two Bilingual Versions

South Africa issued dual versions each year with monolingual legends:

Both share the same reverse, specifications, and designers. Mintage figures are nearly identical.
