Description:
A wonderful vintage mid-century Chinese blue and white porcelain kamcheng (covered jar). This piece was most likely made in the mid-20th century (c. 1950s–1960s) for export. The jar features classic hand-painted underglaze blue decoration of scrolling flowers and vines. It is topped with a domed lid that has a molded light blue foo dog (lion) finial, a traditional protective symbol.
