Cheap plastic doors can crack in the sun, and regular painted metal can rust fast. Our retrofit door is built to last, starting with a heavy-gauge galvanized steel core for strength. We then add a weather-resistant protective finish that helps block moisture. The coating creates a water-repelling barrier against rain, snow, and humidity to help prevent corrosion. It’s also UV-stabilized, so the matte black color resists fading, peeling, and cracking over time.
