This item is an antique vintage right-handed 33 1/2" wood shaft putter. It is a heel shafted wooden headed mallet. Marked P V Beckett on the crown. Beckett was an early pro at Lakeview CC in Grand Rapids, MI. Crosshatched aluminum faceplate and brass backweight. This putter was made by MacGregor for Beckett and it is their Model 490 Sink-Em. The head is clean and not all beat up. It does have the expected nicks, dings and finish wear. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is the original hickory. The shaft has a minor bend, I see no cracks, and it is tight at the hosel. The grip is an old long leather wrap that is in poor vintage condition. B 1 swingweight. 

Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3-pound box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, eBay and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of $10 I receive $8.50) and I would like to break even. eBay collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money.
