Presented in very outstanding condition is this extremely rare 1920s gents solid silver Rolex trench watch. Fitted to a new hand made English leather of the period military strap. 

The rare top quality solid silver case is in superb condition. The hinged case back signed with 'DENNISON WATCH CASE Co ltd, A.L.D' and is hallmarked for Birmingham 1925. The case measures 34mm in diameter not including the onion winding crown. Dennison were world renown watch case manufacturers and were official case makers for Rolex starting from the early 1920s right through to the late 1970s. 

The original white enamel dial is in excellent condition with only very light hairlines. The dial has attractive black Arabic numerals, the blue steel hands contrast beautifully with the white dial with a sub-seconds in the six position. The dial remains unsigned which is correct for this period Rolex model.

The high grade manual wind 15 Jewel Swiss made Rolex Rebberg movement is in excellent condition and keeping good time over a 36hr period. The movement is signed ‘ROLEX 15 JEWELS SWISS MADE’, winds and sets smoothly.
