Direct from a long-sealed Pennsylvania estate. This isn't just a board game; it is a piece of mid-century occult history that has been hidden away from the light for over six decades.
THE BACKSTORY
This "Blue Specter" edition was manufactured in Baltimore during the 1950s, but it hasn't seen the sun since the early '60s. Family lore claims the board was abruptly retired to a dark corner of a cedar-lined attic following a single, bone-chilling night.
According to the estate story, during a particularly intense session, the heart-shaped planchette moved with a violent, unnatural force. When the dust settled, the viewing glass and the brass needle were gone—shattered or vanished into thin air. Despite a frantic search of the room, they were never recovered. Terrified by the loss and the energy in the room, the owners boxed it up, moved it to the attic, and never spoke of it again. It has sat in silence for over 60 years... until now.
ITEM CONDITION (For the Brave Collector)
The Box: Shows "battle scars" from decades of storage. The cardboard is in poor, weathered condition with significant wear, edge splitting, and staining—perfectly capturing the look of a forgotten relic.
The Board: The Masonite playing surface remains intact, still holding the energy of its last use.
The Planchette: The original cream-colored plastic heart is included. Note that the viewing glass and metal needle are missing, lost during that final, fateful encounter described above.
