Royal Saxe porcelain was made in Germany by the Erdmann Schlegelmilch porcelain factory, which was established in Suhl, Thuringia, Germany, in 1861 and operated until 1937. The "Royal Saxe" mark, specifically the "E.S. Germany" version, was used from around 1902 to 1938.
