This vintage gravy boat Cottage Roses Gold Castle Hostess 24k Trim Made in Occupied Japan dish belonged to my mother who received it in 1949.   It has been in storage since 1984.  The dish is in good condition with the exception of a couple of small edge chips (see photo 11).
