Good antique 19th century circular carved gilt wood footstool
Moulded and carved circular base with three scroll feet with carved anthion or flower motifs to the faces.
Upholstered in green fabric.
Remains of two labels on the underside, one of which appears to have been that of the original maker/upholsterers but is largely illegible.
The other label has 'Marget Pantechnicon' printed on it, along with a faint stamped date(?) 18 12 25
In gnerally good condition with no cracks or loose pieces however the gesso finishing layer with some of the gilt has been damaged or is worn on the prominences..
Most of the damage to the gesso is confined to one side,
