This is an original Sony Music Australia in-store promotional VHS issued in 1995 to support the release of HIStory – Past, Present and Future, Book I. Created for record shop playback only, it was never sold at retail and survives today in very small numbers.
The tape is pre-owned but in outstanding condition for its age and has been fully tested and plays perfectly on a standard PAL VHS deck. The shell, label and slip/box show only light signs of handling and no writing or rental stickers (see photos for exact condition).
Because this was a limited in-store promo produced just for the Australian market, it is regarded as one of the hardest-to-find Michael Jackson HIStory-era VHS items and almost never surfaces for sale. A genuine 1995 Sony promo piece and a superb centrepiece for any serious Michael Jackson or HIStory collection.
