Atari 520 / 1040 STE 30 pin SIPPS, can be used in other applications of the same era

Sipps were typically used before simms, they are the same as simms but with a tiny pin on each solder pad

Usually they were either soldered directly to the motherboard or fitted into a turned pin socket

If you have an early STE it may well have sipps

With 4 of these sipps you can make your STE a 1040 / 1mb machine

4 x 256K 30 pin sipps = 1MB (1040)

or also a source of SMD 256K dram?
