4-Way Stretch Ribbed Body Construction- Shirt features a 4-way stretch ribbed exterior that gently stretches(15% spandex) to keep your body warm in chilly conditions. The thicker ridges aid in keeping your body warm while the thinner valley's between the ridges optimizes the breathability between your skin and the outside air. Also, these shirts are more on the heavier side and not thin like a typical Nike long sleeve Dri-Fit shirt. For example, the large weighs roughly 11 ounces while the 3XL weighs around 13 ounces. To put these Nike NCAA shirts heavier weight into perspective, a typical hoodie weighs 19 ounces(1 lb 3 oz) give or take depending on the size & quality. Being heavier in weight makes this shirt perfect for cooler winter weather. This is definitely an advanced technical outer material which is why it has such a high $75 MSRP. Please checkout the last picture to see this ribbed 4-way stretch exterior up close. Note- I brightened this picture so the ridges are easier to see on this high contrasting maroon shirt.
Official On-Field Football Apparel Note- This Nike long sleeve shirt is part of the official On-Field Minnesota Golden Gophers football apparel line. This Nike Golden Gophers shirt has a black On-Field tag sewn into the bottom left corner of the shirt(see pic 8). Also, the MSRP tag specifically says FTBLL(football) in the top right corner of the tag. I just wanted to mention this because most Nike NCAA long sleeve shirts are officially licensed & not sport specific. Only a handful are officially licensed, specifically made for football and is part of the On-Field apparel line for that team. Nike officially licensed products are in a nutshell made for the mass general public to just "represent" the schools name while On-field items are made to the exact specifications of the items worn by that specific team for a period of time. Basically, On-Field items design or patented technology at one time during the season were worn by either the teams trainers, coaching staff or players during practice, warm-ups, pre-game or during the game itself. On-field apparel items typically have advanced more expensive features that a regular Nike item wouldn't have like sewn-on/embroidered graphics or say a unique body exterior/design to help protect them on the actual playing field from harsh elements like wind, rain or cold weather conditions. Not always, but most times a Nike On-Field item has some type of advanced feature I just mentioned. Nike offers On-Field items from time to time to the general public because they know there are next level fans that want to feel part of the game as if they were playing in it. Nothing gets you closer to the game as a die-hard fan than wearing what the actual guys are wearing on the field.
Variable Pricing Listing- The men's shirts in this listing vary in price mainly because of 2 factors. The size of the shirt and the amount I have of a certain size in stock. Typically for me, the less in demand smaller sizes tend to sell lower in my eBay store than the more in demand bigger sizes for most types of shirts. Now if the less in demand smaller sizes are "flooded" in the market & I have more than 1, the price reduction can be much more significant versus the other sizes in the listing. As a online clothing seller I must at times adjust my prices accordingly to market conditions to stay profitable as well as competitive with the ever-changing athletic clothing market. Simply put, like any other "for" profit business, variable pricing has allowed me to maintain profits as well as helping me quickly eliminate low demand space taking items from my inventory. Thanks for your time.
