UNCUT VERSION FROM NEW HD TRANSFER! In Ruggero Deodato's legendary 'Cannibal Holocaust', a team of journalists (director Alan Yates, writer Fay Daniels and cameramen Jack Anders and Mark Tommaso) have disappeared in the South American jungle while filming a documentary about cannibal tribes. Professor Monroe (Robert Kerman) is hired to find the journalists, and Monroe actually succeeds, through the discovery of some film reels, in uncovering the mystery, which turns out to be far more macabre than anyone had dared to imagine: the missing journalists have found the last cannibals... and the meeting has been immortalized on film! 'Cannibal Holocaust' is probably one of the most infamous films to ever find its way to the video and DVD market. The film marks the absolute pinnacle of the cannibal genre, and contains sequences that - even by today's standards - are terrifying.
