Japanese Netsuke Beads made of Alabaster stone (stone powder mix with tree sap). Netsuke Beads usually have a hole (sometimes from top to the bottom but this one is in the front and goes in and out in roughly the same location to hang it on a string or chain, see last photo), good for vintage antique jewelry designers to make their own special jewelry, the straight hole is 0.1”(2-3mm). This Netsuke is almost always carved by hand, so each one has small difference in detail.
