Architectural archive relating to the Bentley residence in Lake Forest, Illinois, originally designed by noted Chicago architect David Adler in 1928.
This group comprises original working drawings and later project material documenting the evolution of the property from its initial construction through mid- and late-20th-century alterations. The material remained together and represents a partial project file rather than isolated sheets.

Working architectural documents showing age-appropriate wear, including edge tears, handling marks, and some sheets in rough condition (notably portions of the 1938 addition drawings). No restoration has been performed. All material sold as found.
This is not a presentation set but a working archive reflecting the design, modification, and continued occupation of a North Shore residence over several decades.
