A vintage lot of 1960’s El Camino Foreign Car Club metal plates. There are 8 of them in all. The races or car shows all took place on the central coast near the city of San Luis Obispo, California. All of the plates are in nice shape with some handling wear. All the plates are different. Overall, great for the nostalgia automotive collector to hang up for your collection or use.
The eight plates consist of: Camp San Luis Obispo time trials 1966, Corrida Atascadero 1965, Pinos, Verdes Cambria 1966, Twisty I Rock O Rama Morro Bay 1965, Giants Frolic 1966, Eight the Hard Way Five Cities Pismo 1965, San Luis Obispo Junior Chamber of Commerce seventh running San Luis Obispo 1964, and Old Miser Economy Run 1965.
All of the plates measure one by three inches size. The red colored seventh running San Luis Obispo Rd. race plate measures 2 1/2“ x 1 1/4“. Some of the plates do have scratches and sticky residue as shown in my pictures. You should be able to get the sticky residue off.
