I am selling this for a neighbor.  This watch was bought new in 1979 by someone who then sold it to a jeweler in St. Thomas V.I. in the early 80's.  My neighbor bought it used in St. Thomas in 1984 for $1050.00 = $3350 adjusted for inflation.

The receipt states 14k gold whereas other listings on eBay of this watch have at 18k.  I do not know if this watch was offered in the two variants and see no others at 14k.  

The receipt also states 7 Jewels, the watch's movement is stamped 6 Jewels, I will assume that 6 is correct.
