You are looking at a very rare and special Tag Heuer SEL Mini S97.708 model. Model S97.708 is from the Sports Elegance Series (SEL). Only 75 of these were made by TAG and very rarely does one come up for sale. This one is #37 of 75. The last 2 that sold via auction sold for $7300 and $7500 respectively. The dial is adorned with 11 single cut claw set diamonds. I am a watch collector who owns over 500 Tag Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. This is a women's size TAG watch with a case size of about 24mm (27mm including crown). This watch is considered the Tag mini. It was made to be worn by a petite woman. I would suggest it is best suited for a smaller woman who likes watch faces slightly smaller than the typical women's size. The crystal is in perfect condition with no scratches. The perfect crystal makes the grayish/blue dial stand out brilliantly. TAG listed this as a gray dial. But in my opinion it has a bluish hue to it. The hands and logo are outlined in gold. Sometimes they appear black in my photos. The back casing is in very good condition with light wear scratches. The back casing has a small engraving noting that it is #37 of 75 produced. The bracelet is a stainless steel band with alternating silver and gold plated links. The bracelet is in excellent condition with light scratches. There are no areas of gold wear. The clasp area is in excellent condition with some fine scratches. The bezel looks excellent with light scratches. The crystal being scratch free is the most important. I would rate this true survivor as a solid 9.4 out of 10 in condition. The watch is all original and will fit up to a 6.5 inch wrist. If you need extra links I can sell you some at $40 per link. I have access to them from a local jewelry store. If you need the extra links just let me know immediately after purchase so I can invoice you for them. It also has the wetsuit extension, which allows you to easily get it over your hand. The bezel turns and clicks crisply in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. It keeps perfect time. This model has a quartz movement and it is 200 meters water resistant. New battery just installed by TAG dealer. This watch retailed for $17,500 new. Buy from someone with a 25 year history of selling authentic Tag Heuers, like myself. Please see my other TAGs for sale.
