Bernard Leach was best known as a potter but he was also a talented artist and produced many etchings whilst he was in Japan.

This etching is entitled "Little Stack" and was produced in 1908.

The etchings were printed by his wife Janet after his death  25 of each were printed. This one is numbered 1 of 25 in the bottom right corner.

It is mounted and framed, there are a few small foxing marks but overall it is in good condition.
