The three small clip-in adapters are for different fiber jacket/coating sizes, so the tool can properly clamp the fiber without damaging it:

• 3MM → For 3.0 mm jacketed fiber (common outdoor or patch cables)

• 900 → For 900 µm tight-buffered fiber

• 250 / RIB → For 250 µm bare fiber coating or ribbon fiber
