This rare, vintage, antique reproduction, ball-and-claw foot slipper tub was (as I understood it then) the last of the cast iron bathtubs produced by American Standard in the 1990s. Model is "Armada" and part number is 2636.011. We were told it was one of the only two tubs still sitting dusty on a warehouse shelf after American Standard quit making them. It is available for re-use now as a result of a bathroom remodel. Note that this listing is for the tub with feet only; no plumbing fixtures are included.

Wonderful find for a historic home renovation! Perfect for an elegant vintage bathroom look. Slipper tubs are attractive!
Tub is very heavy cast iron with a glossy interior enamel coating, as was traditional with tubs for many decades. Exterior of tub is rough cast iron. It was originally black before being painted white and could be repainted another color if preferred. Gold/brass tone feet are molded steel (or cast iron) and hollow on the backsides. Feet are detachable for transport.
This slipper tub was designed for use by only one person at a time. It has a sloped back so you can lean back (recline) while taking a bath. It has two separate (hot & cold) faucet holes on the front rim/deck, but you could cap these openings and do a freestanding faucet if preferred. Antique reproduction plumbing hardware businesses (online) typically offer compatible fixtures. Drain and overflow opening locations are fixed. Tub has a generous rim/deck around the outside, which provides a hand hold. While there is a slightly sanded, embossed scroll design in the bottom of the tub (original) to reduce slipping, a bathmat is still highly advised.
See photo of original specification sheet from American Standard. We noticed only that the height of this tub was slightly different from the spec as it measures about 30-5/8" at the back and 22" at the front. Weight is estimated at 250-300 lbs. Water capacity and depth are not in the spec. We measured 12" deep from bottom edge of overflow to front bottom inside. Consider depth decreases slightly (<= 1/4") toward the back of the tub as the bottom slopes slightly to the front for draining. Standard overflow hardware may give you another 1/4" of depth (and an overflower cover/attachment might give you a little more). We roughly estimate the tub holds about 50-52 gallons when full. It is not as deep as some new soaking tubs and not as shallow as standard bathtubs. IMPORTANT: You may need to reinforce your floor to support the tub, considering weight of the tub and fixtures plus water and person.
Excellent condition overall with limited signs of wear/use. Tub has paint loss in just a few places to exterior. Where tub previously was near a wall on one side there are a couple of spots of accidental overpaint (green on side and deck). Both caveats are fairly easily remedied. Slight yellowing to design in bottom. One small area of rust noted in drain area would be covered with new drain hardware. Clawfoot feet look good but may have a little corrosion/rust in spots from water and floor cleaner. From smoke free home.
Pickup required within 10 days of purchase. Code (eBay provides) is required for pick up. Note that there are no warranties on this tub. Also, please consider that you might need to remove the feet on this tub for transport (they bolt on) and at least two very strong individuals will be required to lift it. We cannot provide lifting assistance.
