Item Description
The Technics SL-1200, a Japanese-made direct-drive turntable, is arguably one of the most widely-used high-fidelity turntables in the world, with a stellar reputation for stability and robustness. Besides being a DJ favorite for decades, this turntable has found its way into the homes of audiophiles and listeners globally. In particular, the SL-1200 is renowned for its accurate and stable rotation speed, ensuring the highest quality pitch reproduction possible. This MK6 model was introduced in 2008 and offers some changes compared to preceding versions, including oxygen-free copper wire, enhanced vibration damping, improved tonearm mounting, and improved pitch control accuracy. They were limited to Japan and are fantastic turntables.
This turntable is in Very good condition. The enclosure has some scratches, scuffs, and a few rust spots from age (please check photos). The dust cover has some minor scratches and scuffs (please check photos and refer to dust cover policy). The turntable has been tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. Inside of the turntable has been cleaned as picture above. Does not come with hinges.
