Vintage wooden woven picnic storage basket with double hinged lid & handle. This hand designed piece has an applied bird picture, which includes a Cardinal. This basket has a handwritten message inside the lid, dating it to 1964.

With a velvet red ribbon around the baskets edge, the inside is lined with a burlap material. In nice overall condition with some small signs of wear as expected for the age. Neither the lid nor the handle have any cracks.
