Hand-built studio pottery platter by American ceramic artist Harris Strong. This elongated stoneware piece features carved relief of two wonmen set against a textured geometric ground, finished in layered blue, green, and earth-tone glazes. Signed on the back.  A sculptural ceramic well suited for wall display or shelf presentation, and a strong example of mid-20th-century American studio pottery by a recognized artist.
