Concepts of Sheep Growth, Dept. of Veterinary Anatomy, University of Sidney (1988) Not available anywhere else!  This text by Australian professor and researcher Rex M. Butterfield is of value to academics, research scientists, and students of animal agriculture. Butterfield's approach to quantifying maturing patterns of growth has received worldwide attention and is an important component in the study of growth and body composition of farm animals. The dust jacket on this 46-year old book shows moderate signs of wear and age, including scuffed & creased edges and some soiling on the back.  The book itself has only minor flaws.  The bright blue cloth boards are clean and sturdy, with only a few creases at the bottom of the spine.  The page edges have a 1x1 cm purple smudge (see pic #4). The inside cover looks to have had a sticker removed, leaving a scraped area (see pic #5).  The hinges are secure and the binding is tight. A large inscription, written in ink on the front flyleaf is the only marking in the entire book.  All other interior pages are pristine. Your purchase helps support the Lexington (KY) Public Library.
