Jayne in Repose Original Oil on Panel. Evocative framed oil painting depicting a peaceful female figure lying in repose. The subject is portrayed in profile, dressed in a dark garment, resting gently on a light pillow. Her delicate facial features and softly closed eyes convey a sense of calm, reflection, and quiet transcendence.
A soft, luminous mist rises delicately from her form, giving the impression of an ethereal presence lifting gently upward. As though her essence is quietly ascending beyond the physical realm.
It’s a beautifully haunting piece that works well in gothic, dark academia or eclectic spaces. It would make a unique statement for anyone drawn to mysterious, soulful art.
Painted in oil on panel and signed by the artist, the work includes authentication labels on the reverse.
The painting measures approximately
(L) 23 cm x (W) 18 cm x (D) 1.5 cm including the frame, which is glued to the panel.
It is presented in excellent condition and is ready to hang on sawtooth hanger.
