Every V8Girl hood ornament begins as an original digital sculpture that I create from scratch. Once the design is perfected, a high-resolution master is professionally 3D printed and hand-finished to an ultra-smooth surface.
The master is then sent to my contracted foundry, where a precision casting mold is created. Each ornament is cast in solid molten pewter, cleaned, hand-finished, polished through multiple stages, and individually inspected before shipping.
