Vintage Texas Instruments digital quartz wristwatch.
• Watch powers on and keeps time
• Buttons respond
• Case: silver/chrome tone, some wear consistent with age
• Stainless steel back
• Original style leather strap (shows age cracking)
Display Issue (IMPORTANT):
The LCD has a segment fault in the minute display.
The digits “3” and “5” appear as “8”
Example: 10:35 displays as 10:85
All other digits appear normal
The watch has evidence of a working backlight but it is very dim.
Timekeeping appears functional, and keeps good time but display is not fully accurate due to this issue.
There was also evidence of battery leakage and it may still be present. I cleaned and neutralized what I could to make the watch run but I know very little about watches. I am not a watch maker so the details I am describing/showing are just observations and an attempt at full disclosure.
