Description: A very beautiful Chinese solid silver visiting card case, of a rectangular form with a detachable pull off lid with one side decorated in repousse decoration with figures, trees and building around a shield shaped empty cartouche, with the reverse beautifully decorated with prunus trees and floral patterned borders. The body is hallmarked with the silver makers mark for Luen Wo who was from Shanghai, China, was active around 1865 - 1920 and was a Chinese export maker. It's of an excellent usable pocket size and weighs 90 grams. A splendid clean example which is ready to be used for its purpose or would make a fabulous addition to anyones collection. A handsome clean original Chinese example.
Measurements: Length 10.3 cm, width 6.7 cm and depth 1.3 cm
Condition report: Excellent clean condition for its age with no dents, dings, holes, splits or repairs. The embossed decoration is in unworn condition with no rubbing or wear issues and comes with an empty shield shaped cartouche. The lid is an excellent tight fit with no play and closes tightly shut. The interior is in excellent condition for its age. The body is hallmarked with Chinese hallmarks which are slightly rubbed but still very readable. Overall looks like a hardly used example in superb condition which is ready to be used for its purpose or would make a fabulous addition to a collection. A lovely fine example.

Europe/Worldwide deliveries will only be sent out using eBay global shipping programme service. Which is a fast and reliable shipping service for worldwide deliveries. But is out of our control and can take from 2-4 weeks depending on location in the world for delivery.
We no longer use Royal Mail or any other service to Europe or any other country. I can't control combined delivery to Europe or Worldwide.
