In this listing, we are selling 60 BRAND NEW egg boxes/cartons as seen in the photos. Each carton (of which there are 60 in this listing) holds 6 large  eggs (chickens').  
They will arrive stacked together and will never have been used or even separated.  (The photos show them separated, so you can see what they're like).
Each carton holds 6 (half a dozen) LARGE chicken eggs.  The cartons  are made of grey, recyclable cardboard fibre.  The tops are flat, and although they have one indentation, they take a 10 X 6 cm label well (The label showing in some of the photos is 10 X 6 cm).  We've used these identical egg cartons ourselves, for over three years now,  and we put our 10.5cm x 6cm  labels on the tops of the boxes, and the label crosses over the indentation - and it doesn't cause any problem at all - and looks really neat.  (The top surface area is comparatively large on these boxes, compared with some other boxes we have used). We sell over 3000 eggs a week, and use these identical cartons with huge success!  
These boxes have one tab and hole fastening on their short sides. 
We find that if we re-use them too many times, the tab eventually weakens and/ or the tab hole area tears,  but that's not really what they're meant for!   These cartons are really sold for using once, and then recycling!  (Our egg buyers very often return these boxes to us, and we do re-use them - but don't assume you can do that as they're not that strong!

We normally send out the egg boxes (and trays that we also sell, the same day we receive the payment.  Sometimes, if the payment comes late in the day for example,, they are despatched the next morning.  We have plenty of good feedback, mainly on their good value and very speedy delivery!
OBVIOUSLY, THE EGGS SHOWING IN SOME OF THE PHOTOS ARE NOT COMING WITH YOUR ORDER!  We do sell fresh farm eggs though, free range of course, so if you choose to come and collect the cartons, you can try some!  (We will then remove the cartons' postage costs of course!). We live on the A10 road in Buntingford, SG9 0RY and are very easy to find!
